Thursday, 16th July 1914: State’s Brief In Frank Case Being Prepared, The Atlanta Journal

Solicitor General Hugh M. Dorsey and his assistant, E. A. Stephens, were busy Thursday on the State's brief on the extraordinary motion for a new trial for Leo M. Frank, convicted of the murder of Mary Phagan. The State's brief will be filed in the Supreme Court during the day Thursday, and it is expected that the motion will be reached for argument before the Supreme Court of the State on next Monday.
