Frank has been tried, convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of fourteen-year-old Mary Phagan, interest in the case continues as keen as when the condemned man was facing the jury. This is due to the fact that Frank's friends have denounced the verdict as a monstrous perversion of justice and have begun a campaign that
