Monday, 28th December 1914: Leo Frank Decision Is Expected Today, The Atlanta Constitution

Followers of the many phases of the Leo Frank Case are keenly interested today in the expected verdict of Justice Lamar, of the United States Supreme Court, upon the Application for an Appeal. The Application was presented Wednesday by Louis Marshall, the Constitutional Law Expert of New York, who has been engaged by the Frank defense to represent them in this last fight before the Supreme Court. It applies for an Appeal from Judge Newman's denial of the Writ of Habeas Corpus presented to him last Monday and Saturday week. In the event Judge Lamar denies the Appeal, the Application will be submitted to other Justices, and, eventually, to the entire Court, itself.
