Will Ask That Judge Hill Be Notified of Supreme Court Decision in Frank Case.

Developments are expected today in the Case of Leo M. Frank. Judge Newman, who is now in Columbus, is due back today, and Solicitor Dorsey expects to immediately consult with him and ask that an Order be officially sent to Judge Ben Hill, of the Superior Court, notifying him of the Mandate of the Supreme Court of the United States, thus restoring Jurisdiction in the Case to the original Court that tried and convicted Frank of the murder of Mary Phagan.

It is likely that on Monday, Judge Ben Hill will act on a Writ of Habeas Corpus filed by Solicitor Dorsey last Monday asking that Leo Frank be taken from the Custody of Sheriff Mangum and brought to the Superior Court in order that the date of his Death Sentence might again be set. This will make the fourth time that the Death Sentence has been pronounced on Frank.

Judge Hill has pronounced the Death Sentence on Frank on two former occasions, and each time the Superior Court Judge allotted forty days as the time before Execution should be effected. It is likely that the date of Frank's Execution will be set, about forty days, from Monday.

His Attorneys on Friday were preparing to wage a bitter fight in Frank's behalf before the Prison Commission in an effort to get that body to recommend that Frank be given Executive Clemency.
